Johnson announces his candidacy to be mayor (Greenville Advocate)

Gerald Johnson announced Monday that he will run for mayor of Greenville in the August 26 municipal election. "I would like to introduce myself to the citizens of Greenville, especially to those who do not know me," he said. "I hope to have the opportunity to speak to each of you."
